I read an article yesterday saying that EDD was going to get all the accounts that have been put on hold "updated" by this week. I also received a texted today saying they filed the PEUC extension for me.Īll i have to do is wait til Sunday to see how many weeks i get to certify, it should be for 4 weeks.
Today I log in and it no longer says "Max benefits paid", and now says the usual "No weeks available to certify, come back 1/31 to claim" I also received an inbox message on my edd account with the subject line "Determination of Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation", which stated that the PEUC was being extended by law and on the bottom it says how much you'll get weekly, for how long and your claim amount. She mentioned they might call me, but they haven't. She told me she left a note on my account so that the specialist can be made aware of it when they reach my account.

Originally i had only been able to certify for one week, Jan 10-16th (I havnt been able to certify from 12/27-1/9), she tried to update the weeks herself but couldn't so she tried to transfer me to a claims specialist but couldn't cause the queue line was full. On Tuesday I called over 60+ times without being able to get through, yesterday I got through by the 9th time around 4pm and was able to speak to an agent.
